Internal Assessment and Credit System

  • Every Department of the College organises within each academic year [July to June] at least one Students’ Seminar, one Departmental Quiz and one Departmental Seminar.
  • Attendance of all students in these departmental activities is compulsory.
All students and their guardians are requested to take the CREDIT SYSTEM seriously as this has been devised for the benefit of the students and for their all-round development.

INTERNAL ASSESSMENT AND CREDIT SYSTEM FOR HONOURS STUDENTS:
10 marks Class performance and participation in quiz / seminars / student seminars
10 marks Extra-curricular activities like Yoga / Self Defence program / NSS / NCC etc.
10 marks Class Test
10 marks Mid-term Examination [Students shall be tested on 100 marks which shall be brought down to 10 marks for overall assessment].
60 marks Selection Test [Students shall be tested on 100 marks which shall be brought down to 60 marks for overall assessment].
10 marks Reserved for attendance throughout the year.
  • Taking Midterm Test is compulsory for students appearing for Test Examination
  • National Social service (NSS) & National Cadet Corps (NCC) Classes are compulsory for General Course Students and for willing Hons. Students.
INTERNAL ASSESSMENT AND CREDIT SYSTEM FOR GENERAL STUDENTS:
20 marks Class performance.
10 marks Overall assessment.
10 marks Regular attendance.
50 marks Selection Test.
10 marks Participation in extra-curricular activities like Yoga/ Self Defence program / NSS / NCC etc.
Students will be sent up for the University Examinations on the basis of their performance on 100 acquired through this INTERNAL ASSESSMENT AND CREDIT SYSTEM.
