The Department of English, in collaboration with IQAC, Basanti Devi College, organised the "Annual Special Lecture, 2022" to mark the centenary of The Waste Land by T. S. Eliot on 08th December (Thursday), 2022 in the college auditorium from 11:00 A.M. to 01:00 P.M.
Dr. Saurav Dasthakur, Associate Professor, Department of English, Visva-Bharati University graced the occasion as Resource Person and delivered the Special Lecture titled "What is a Poet?: The Waste Land and a twentieth century discourse of authorship" in presence of UG and PG students and the faculty members of the Department.
